aka Goddess Threads

A lifetime resident of the Pacific Northwest with an insatiable thirst for knowledge and experience has led me here. Fate has brought us together.

Within these pages I offer you souvenirs of my exploration and hope that you might even be slightly inspired.

For one week, just do what you love.

You may find a gap between what you think you love and what you actually love.
Can you stop after one week?

What did you learn about yourself? About others? About your relationship with those around you?

Curious to see what happens next?

Did you know that the more you heat, clean, and polish silver, the finer it gets?

When my sterling silver setting hits the tipping point of a perfectly soldered bezel to a red molten Daliesque memory, I've actually refined the metal.

It's even more precious than before.

Being infinitely reusable, I can just melt the whole thing with gusto and start over.

And people wonder why I'm so optimistic.

Like a bright shiny sheet of silver polished to a mirror finish. So many possibilities ahead.

What happens when silver remains untouched, exposed to the elements, or forgotten?

It oxidizes, darkens the metal, adding a layer of color, texture, and dimension.

One can force this appearance as patina. Like make-up on skin.

What do you think you see vs what do you actually see?

What do you feel? What do you want them to feel when they see you?

Powerful and bold by day.

Delicate and refined by night.

Playful and simple on Saturday.

Fairy goddess on Sunday.

Wear what you feel.

Be who you are.

Do what you love.
